PMM is now machining Glock 43/48 sleds to mount optics to your pistol. Depending on the iron sight options, the SHIELD RMSc/Romeo 0 cut will result in a perfect match with the factory front sight.

The PMM Glock 43 Slide cut for the SHIELD RMSc/Romeo 0 can be done in two ways.

Option 1. RMSc/Romeo 0 Cut in front of factory dovetail. This cut uses the factory elevation sights for a perfect 1/3 lower co-witness with any factory elevation sight.
Option 2 RMSc/Romeo 0: Cut in place of factory dovetail. This cut eliminates the factory dovetail and uses an integrated optical sight channel for the rear iron sight. Option #2 also provides a cover plate with an integrated visor.
Option no. 2 RMRcc: cut in place of the factory dovetail. This cut eliminates our factory dovetail with our IDRS (integrated rear sight) with a Dawson Precision front sight post. The sight system is included in the price of the optics section, a cover plate is not available for this variant.
The optic cut-off eliminates the factory dovetail and uses our new IDRS sighting system, which places the rear iron sight on the optic and is paired with a Dawson Precision front sight post.

This is a service that requires you to submit your image. The slide must be a factory slide and cannot be a blank or "built" slide. If you need optics for your Glock 43X, I'm here to help. The modular optic or MOS version of the G43X has factory cut glass that only accepts microtrack size optics using an RMSc type base. Not all Red Dots (RDS) will fit.
Originally popularized by the Smith & Wesson Shield series, the RMSc footprint is now used on a number of guns, including the SIG SAUER P365 series and the Springfield Armory Hellcat scope. The sights are more compact than regular pistol sights and are essential for slim guns like the G43X.
I have thoroughly researched the use of reflex sights on handguns and have tried more than a few options on the market. To help you decide which red dot might work best for your needs, here is my list of Glock 43X optics.

This optic will also fit the Glock 48 MOS pistol. While I try to keep the list up to date, I recognize that I may miss a new product launch. So feel free to leave information about anything not listed in the comments section below.
Before we get into the details of each optic, here's a comparison chart of the features and prices of the options currently available.

Riton Optics offers a hard mounted mini red dot optic for your fine Glock pistol. Called the X3 TACTIX MPRD, this scope is manufactured with a 6061-T6 aluminum body and multi-coated lens. Only the Swampfox Sentinel beats it in terms of durability (scroll down).
Trijicon Rmr Optic Cut For Glock
The X3 TACTIX MPRD is a fully manual optic with 10 levels of red dot brightness. Levels one and two are compatible with night vision, while the remaining brightness levels are compatible with the Mk1 eyeball in various lighting conditions. The auto-off function starts after 12 hours.
Riton claims 99.5% light transmission thanks to high-density glass and multi-layer coatings. The lens coating is said to reduce reflections, improve clarity in low light and is scratch resistant.
The company has a simple guarantee: if it ever fails, send it back and Riton Optics will send you a new one. You don't need to have the product registered, you don't need any paperwork, you don't even need to be the original buyer. The company aims to process any returns within 48 hours. It would be hard to beat service like that.
The optic has a suggested retail price of $299.99. The scope is relatively new, so you have to buy it directly from Riton. When it hits the market, I'm sure we'll see discounts at regular retailers.
Glock Model 43x Mos 9mm, W/ 2x 10 Round Magazines, Standard Sights
Shield Sights is the oldest manufacturer of micro red sights for pistols like the Glock 43X. The company currently offers two basic models: RMSc and SMSc.
Made in England, the RMSc uses an aluminum body with a polymer lens to display a red dot. Shield Sights does not state the type of aluminum it uses for the body.
Shield Sights use an anti-reflective coating on the lens to reduce glare when aiming the G43X. Polymer lenses are used in a number of reflex sights and tend to reduce manufacturing costs. However, some people report that the lenses are more prone to scratches.
You can purchase this scope with a 4 MOA or 8 MOA dot. For me, I prefer 4 MOA, but 8 MOA really jumps out at you. For close-range defensive shooting, the larger dot isn't a bad choice, so choose what you think will work best for you.

The shield does not identify how many brightness levels the scope can use. Rather, the dot automatically adapts to the lighting conditions.
Shield offers a 7-year electronics warranty on RMSc and a lifetime warranty on all other components.
As Shield is an English company, buying directly from the company requires a currency conversion from US dollars to British pounds. In addition, purchases are subject to VAT or value added tax. At the time of writing, the scope's recommended retail price is £300 ex VAT. After adding currency conversion and VAT, the price is about $472.98 plus overseas shipping.
Another Shield product, this unit has a similar look, but also a few new features. The most obvious change is that the SMSc uses a polymer body instead of aluminum.

Shield also redesigned the lens. Now you can get a polymer lens with a special hard quartz coating for increased durability and scratch resistance. You can also completely replace the polymer lens with a glass lens.
As with the RMSc, the SMSc is an always-on view with automatic brightness adjustment. When mounted on a Glock pistol, the sensor measures ambient light and changes the relative brightness of the red dot.
The SMSc can be purchased with a 4 or 8 MOA reticle. It has the same unlimited/7-year warranty as the RMSc.
With a quartz polymer coated lens, MSRP including VAT for the SMSc is $346.85. The glass lens upgrade will cost an additional $126.13, for a total of $472.98. It happens to be the same price as the RMSc.

Alternatively, you can try getting one from a US-based seller. Right now, though, the only retailer that carries them is Springfield Armory. The company's asking price is $299, but they are sold out and have no expected stock date.
If you didn't already know, SIG SAUER is now an optics manufacturer. The company makes everything from rangefinders to high-performance binoculars. One of their most recent additions is the Romeo Zero RDS, which fits the Glock 43X and other slim pistols.
The Romeo Zero is made with a polymer body and lens. That goes hand in hand with the fact that it's light, at about 0.4 ounces, according to the company's specs.
For durability, I much prefer a 6061 or 7075 aluminum body. However, polymer has proven to be a durable material for gun parts. I also prefer a glass lens. However, polymer is a proven material for optics, so as long as you don't abuse it, you should be fine with this scope.
Who Makes A Glock Frame Optics Mount That Doesn't Use The Rail? (17.5)
The GIS uses a motion activation system to activate the red dot. The system seems to work well and I have no problem trusting it.
Dot brightness is manually controlled. With Romeo Zero you get 8 manually adjustable brightness levels. Two models are available: one with a 3 MOA dot and the other with a larger 6 MOA dot.
One of the highlights of this look is its price: $219. Buying online will bring the total cost under $200 with free shipping. This is the most affordable offering on this list by quite a margin.
Reader Mike W. emailed me about Romeo Zero compatibility with the G43X MOS. He said the mounting screws that come with the scope are too long for a Glock pistol. This reflects a problem I discovered when trying to mount a Romeo Zero on a Springfield Armory Hellcat.
Holosun 507k (slimline Footprint)
I am trying to locate a set of replacement screws. I've been suggested that these M4-0.70x8mm flat head screws are a good replacement, but I have yet to confirm.
